Jerrie was a devoted wife, momma, NeNe, teacher, and friend. Her love and compassion overflowed. This was especially true with her career in early education. It extended to families, her coworkers, friends, and to the community. In Jerrie’s eyes, all of these were treasured and loved as family. Her hard work and focused energy was spent making the world a better place. Her inner light was a beacon for her family, natural and adopted, and this light will continue to shine in our hearts because of the beautiful years we were blessed to have her. Her days were spent enriching everyone who came in contact with her. From a day of spoiling her grandkids, having family time, or teaching in her classroom, no matter where she was, Jerrie shared the most true and pure love and care.
