Terry Lee Wood

Terry Lee Wood, age 60, passed away on May 25, 2022 at his home. Terry was born on December 10, 1961 in Miami, FL to William Gerald Wood and Georgia Matte Gunter before relocating to Crossville, TN where he lived his entire life.

Terry was an avid outdoorsman who had a passion for hunting, fishing, and farming. He never met a stranger and had a huge heart. He had no greater love or devotion than he had for his family and friends.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, William Gerald Wood and his brother Keith Gerald Wood. He is survived by his mother, Georgia Matte Gunter, his brothers Paul Gregory Wood and Shane Mitchell Wood, his life partner Valerie Becker and their daughter Jayden Becker.

Services will be held at Crossville Memorial Funeral home on Thursday, June 2, 2022. We will be receiving friends from 1-3pm; Service at 3pm with the Graveside service immediately following at Big Lick Hillcrest Cemetery.

Jerry Don Trotter

Jerry Trotter, age 79, was born on May 19, 1943 to Willard and Annabelle Trotter in Parrish, AL. He passed away on May 25, 2022 in Crossville, TN.

Jerry enjoyed golfing, gambling, and spending time with his family and friends.

Jerry is survived by his wife Diana Trotter; children Scott (Kelly) Trotter and Jeff (Jessica) Trotter; grandchildren Christian, Mathew, Riley, Kaylee, Sophia, and Cody; great grandchildren Gavin and Parker; and siblings Bobbie Barton and Kay Grondin.

He was preceded in death by his parents Willard and Annabelle (Evans) Trotter; and family members Kenneth Trotter, LaWanda Manasco, Donald Trotter, and Ronald Trotter.

Michelle Lee Walton

Michelle Lee Walton, age 51, was born on December 27, 1970 in Minneapolis, MN and passed away on May 22, 2022 in Cookeville, TN.

She was the bookkeeper for the Walton’s businesses. She enjoyed traveling, boating, motorcycling, and going to Nascar races.

She is survived by her husband Spencer E. Walton, Jr; children Spencer Walton III (Jessica), Mary Elizabeth Dunn (Eric), Tyler Walton, Brandon Walton (Kayla); grandchildren Jacob Rogers, Brooklyn Rogers, Lexis Walton, and Indy Walton.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ronald and Diane Schultz.

Funeral services will be held at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, June 4, 2022. Visitation will be from 12-2p with the service to follow at 2p. She will be buried in Crossville City Cemetery immediately following the service.

Anthony Joshua Blauvelt

Anthony J. Blauvelt, 17, born August 12, 2004 in Oswego, NY, passed away May 21, 2022 in Crossville, TN.

He was a loving, caring, honest, kindhearted young man. He loved anything with wheels. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a mechanic and enjoyed building anything. But his true passion were his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents Lyndsey Blauvelt and Emmanuel Santiago; brothers Aaron Corrice (Jada AuClair) and John Sullivan; sisters Aubrie Blauvelt and Mia Santiago; grandparents Lisa Cates, Holly (Alex) Santiago, and Crystal McManus; niece Roselyn Corrice; very close aunt and uncle Sherry and Kevin Kling; and many more aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Services will be held at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 5:00-8:00pm. The Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 11:00am. Burial will be in Haley’s Grove Cemetery in Crab Orchard, TN. He will be escorted by local police and ALL bikers that would like to come out and show their support.

Amy L Bolin

Amy (Wilson) Bolin, 82, passed peacefully on May 19, 2022, after a fall at her home in Elyria on May 17th. Amy was surrounded by family as this sudden ending shook us to our cores. To everyone Amy met, nurturing and comforting in her unique southern style, she made an impression that was hard to forget.

Amy was born in Crossville, TN; married husband Owen; and moved to Lorain County in 1959, where she raised her family.

Amy worked at Elyria Manufacturing for thirty-seven years. Her passions for cooking, sewing, gardening, and thrift shopping were always shared with the next visitors she entertained. Her southern roots were forever set deep and will remain there as she rests on the hillside she was raised on, alongside her husband, Owen Q. Bolin, who has been waiting for her reunion since 2014.

Sharing and caring were Amy’s routine. Her children, and especially her grandchildren, and great granddaughter got excellent guidance on living the good life and knowing right from wrong.

Amy is preceded in death by husband Owen Q. Bolin; parents Roy and Ollie (Lewis) Wilson; siblings Elbert Wilson, Eleanor (Wilson) Benton, and Uldean (Wilson) Stone.
Surviving Amy are daughter Jane Baker (Daryl); sons Roy D. Bolin, David “Andy” Bolin (Lynn); grandchildren Rachel Baker (Alex Friedman), Amy C. Bolin, and Dalton Bolin; and great granddaughter Eden Bolin; siblings Mary (Ben) Tabor, Paul (Mary) Wilson, Ronnie (Kathy) Wilson, Danny (Theresa) Wilson, Jerry (Paula) Wilson, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home — 2653 North Main Street, Crossville, Tennessee. Visitation will take place Friday, May 27, 2022 from 5:00 until 8:00pm. The service will be observed on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 1:00pm with the burial to follow in Thomas Springs Cemetery in Crossville.

Elizabeth June Swafford

June Swafford passed away surrounded by her family on May 16, 2022 after fighting a long hard battle with her illness. She was born on July 29, 1949 in Crossville, TN, where she spent her childhood and graduated from Cumberland County High School. June was a strong and successful business owner in Crossville for over 40 years. From oil and gas, to sporting goods, and finally retiring from her Bookkeeping Unlimited business around 2011. While loving her work, she also enjoyed working in the yard and leisure gaming exchange. But, her main love in life was her family; that she would go above and beyond to provide and protect. Just was also a follower of Jesus Christ and of the Baptist faith.

June is survived by her daughter Jeanne Swafford (Bruce Cannon); two granddaughters Beth (Mason) Brown and Emily (Alex) Swafford; her brother and sister-in-love Robert “Bob” and Debbie Wilson; great grandchildren Emma and Grayson Brown and son to be born Stetson; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Verna Wilson; sister Johnnie Wilson; nephew Chip Simmons; and life partner George Hassler.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00p to 1:00p with the service at 1:00pm. The family will then bury June at Green Acres Memory Garden with a private graveside service.

Judy Elaine Blair

Judy was born on February 8, 1955 in Crossville, TN and passed away on Mother’s Day, May 8, 2022. Judy worked as an X-Ray technician in the medical field in Warner Robins, GA at Hudson County Medical Center. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, also a faithful member of Eastwood Baptist Church for many years. Judy enjoyed tending to her flower beds, sewing, and reading. Judy loved spending time with her family and talking with her grandkids via FaceTime. She loved nothing more than laughing and chatting with her sisters and friends on the phone.

She was an avid and lifelong student of the Bible. Her love for Jesus was one of her most evident characteristics. We know, and are comforted by, the fact that she is overjoyed to be holding the hand of her Savior now.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Ova Lee Campbell.

Judy is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Gary Blair; daughters Ashlie (Nathan) Farquharson and Laura Pohl; grandchildren Isabelle, Paisley, Piper, and Willow; sisters Cathy (Hughie) Oakley and Sandra Campbell; and nephew Landon (Megan) Oakley.

The family would like to thank Ochsner LSU ER, Neuro, and Critical Care ICUs and staff for the care and attentiveness. Thank you to the Willis Knighton Inpatient Rehab nurses and patient care techs for their warmth and loving kindness to Judy. Also, thank you to her extended Eastwood Baptist family and friends (and many across the nation) for their diligent prayers during her hospitalization.

The service celebrating the life of Judy Elaine Blair was held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Eastwood Baptist Church in Haughton, LA. There will also be a Graveside service held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 10am in Big Lick Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Eastwood Baptist Church or The American Stroke Association.

Jerry Dewayne Bilbrey

Jerry Dewayne Bilbrey, 62, was born on October 10, 1959 to Estel and Audrey Bilbrey in Monterey, TN. He passed away on May 12, 2022 in Crossville, TN.

Jerry enjoyed doing mechanical work, tinkering, and everything about the outdoors.

He is survived by his children Alisha and Joseph Bilbrey; sisters Adean Vaughn, Gwen Pryor, Jeanette King, and Brenda Swallows; half brothers & sister Charles Ray, Jerry, Kathy, Jimmy, and J.R.; 3 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son Joshua Callis; brothers J.V., Harlon, & Terry Bilbrey; and sister Mayzell Bilbrey.

Visitation will be held at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 12:00p-2:00p. He will be buried at Midway Cemetery in Clarkrange, TN immediately following the visitation.

Delmer Gene Dunn

Delmer Dunn, age 82, was born on May 3, 1940 to Hughlin and Roxy Dunn in Crossville, TN. He passed away on May 3, 2022 at his home in Monterey, TN.

He is survived by his companion Brenda Bridges; children Gina (Charles) Dixon and Curtis Shane Dunn; grandchildren Kim, Megan, Matthew, Ashleigh, and Lauren; great grandchildren Lexi, Mason, Noah, Chris, and River; sister Joanne Wightman; and his first wife and mother of his children Judy Dunn.

He was preceded in death by his parents Hughlin and Roxy Hodge Dunn; son Chris Dunn; and siblings David, Bill, Pat, and Jim.

Delmer enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and watching all sports.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 6-8pm at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 10am at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. He will be buried in Neverfail Cemetery immediately following the service.

Jean “Mama Jean” Elmore Young

Jean Young, age 74, was born on June 12, 1947 to Ben and Velma Elmore in Crossville, TN. She passed away on April 30, 2022 at her home in Crossville, TN.

She is survived by by her children Juanita Duerr, Sandra Amonett, Benny Young, James Young, and Lesha Richards all of Crossville, TN; sisters Nancy Cowgill, Susie Mallord, and Marty Ferraro all of Florida, and Georgia Wyatt of Cleveland, TN; brothers Sammy Moles of Florida and Robert Moles of Alabama. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ben H. and Velma Ruth Allred Elmore; brothers Dennis and James Moles; daughter Tresha Sherrill; and granddaughter Krista Young.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00pm to 2:00pm with the service immediately following at 2:00pm.
