Carole Diane (Maslin) Thierry

Carole Thierry, 76, was born October 25th, 1946, to Bruce and Alice Maslin in Ann Arbor, MI and died August 2, 2023 at Cumberland House in Crossville, TN from Pancreatic cancer.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bruce James Maslin Sr. and Alice Jane (Briggs) Snowgold and her brother Kevin Maslin.

She graduated from Ann Arbor Pioneer High School and studied education at Western Michigan University.  She was a ballerina dancer and teacher during her school life. Later she became an independent business starter and owner, property developer with her husband, and amazing community advocate.  She poured her heart and spirit into working to uplift and support her family, friends and community as a Reiki master, Hospice volunteer, community fundraiser, and chairperson for various committees of the Tansi Property Owners Association.

We offer the contributions of her life as shown by her legacy and the amazing spirit and love of the family and communities that she has inspired and supported.  Her intentions to embrace and share a love of life, service, and spirit transcended herself.  She recognized true bonds of friendship and family, both biological and chosen, that were so very genuine, deep, and spiritual… and she was humbled by the gifts of love, appreciation, and support given to her by her community especially at the time before her passing.  This is the proof of her impact that will continue to serve us all and to remember a soul bent on living a true life of consequence…

Please direct any contributions in lieu of flowers to Cumberland House in Crossville, TN.

Please be patient as we organize details for a Memorial/Celebration of Life both in Lake Tansi and Michigan.
